Our coaching program

At Arana Netball Club, our coaches act as mentors, encouraging players to build confidence, resilience, and leadership qualities. By fostering a sense of unity and shared purpose with their teams, our coaches help develop well-rounded players and create a lifelong love for the sport. Our coaching program is dedicated to supporting coaches in their coaching development journey. The program provides a structured framework for coaches to gain valuable insights, refine their skills, and build confidence in their role. You don't need to have prior experience to be a coach. Our mentoring program pairs junior or inexperienced coaches with experienced mentors. This creates a supportive environment where ideas can be shared, challenges addressed, and practical strategies developed to enhance coaching effectiveness. You’re eligible to apply for a coaching position in the year you turn 14. Through this mentorship initiative, our club aims to cultivate a culture of growth and collaboration. Coaches benefit by developing techniques that foster both individual and team success. The program not only strengthens the coaching community within the club but also ensures a positive and enriching experience for all players.
